Nucleus-sized victory

Hiroshima, this is the first thing pops into my head when I see the last news flashes about the Iranian president Mahmud Ahmadinejad. I am horrified when I realize that this man will possess a nuclear bomb someday. It's even more frightening when I suddenly remember that he has "minions" around my beloved country-Bashar Al-Asad's Syria and Hald Mashal's Hamas. Furthermore, he has a loyal partner also inside Lebanon, Hassan Nasrallah's Hizballah. Lately, he sent his greetings to Nasrallah-"the winner in July war". Maybe he's a winner, but we know how many of the Lebanese lost their money, property and lives in this war.

  • we didn't lose material things only shirine. For instance, i lost the house where i was raised and spent all my life along with all the memories it holds.
I would glady lose it a hundred times again for the sense of invincibility and pride that this lebanese victory gave me.
I only wish for you to be able to live along my side and accept my beleives like i my self try to acknowledge your point of view.

  • It's amazing how some see pride in death and violence. Pride is a sin in some religions, of course, not for some.

  • Only God is invicible. Only those who are not god fearing people will see themselves as invincible and justify their violence and carnage in the name of their god. You can't fool God...You are responsible for the death and destruction you cause regardless of your religion.

  • Diiferent societies embraced different religions that suited their social needs to improve the quality of thier life as they saw fit.
I'm not a believer myself, but i beleive that mohammad and jesus were both revolutionaries who were willing to put their lives on the line to give a better life to their people.
I for one appretiate life enough to know that it is worth dying for.

If the oppressor uses violence, the oppressed have no alternative but to respond violently."(Mandela)

  • slacker,

you and your nasrallah or divine victory are fools, you's can't see beyond the circle you's live in that's how naive you all are. I am not an israeli fan but if I remember correctly you's started it by killing 8 and kidnapping 2 then they reteliated and brought the hole country into this mess.

Loose whatever you want house, car etc but i am not prepared to loose a shoe for nasrallah unless only if it goes up his ass then I would gladly would
